My (Little) Apocalypse - Twight Sparkle

A man covered in chemical soaked clothes and rags is seen stumbling through the wreckage of what was a bridge. Twilight looks for his face, but there's too many rags covering his head to see it.
Twilight: "Who are you?"
The man continues stumbling and pays no attention. Twilight flies to the front of the man, and gets a better look at his face. She's shocked to see the visor of a helmet. Twilight takes the rags off of the man's head to reveal her husband's face behind the visor of a replica MJOLNIR Mk V[b] helmet.
Twilight: "What are you doing here. Answer me."
The man: "I came here to find the love of my life. I found an empty shell, which is remarkable considering the amount of garbage. You remember this?"
He pulls out a sand dollar.
Twilight: "That was from our beach trip... We hated that trip."
The man: "I remember that as one of our closest moments... Remember what we did on that patch of grass that had a perfect view of the ocean?"
Twilight: "That's when we didn't care for our deferences... Celestia, Luna, and Cadence made a spell that would make you into a pony. You didn't know what to do, so you asked me... That was the first time we truly kissed."
The man: "We did more than that... Twilight, come with me. We can fix you and start a family! Just like you wanted!"
Twilight: "It's too late. I'm a monster."
The man takes off the helmet.
The man: "But You're Not! There's no way we could've know that they would be that much waste! Sure it destroyed Old Canterlot, but New Canterlot-"
Twilight: "New Canterlot?"
The man: "Yes. The new elements of harmony are still missing the final element. Magic. We need you. Now more than ever."
Twilight: "... Wait. Did that helmet clean the gas for you? There's absolutely no air here."
The man: "I'm not sure. The filtration system was a prototype, and I felt life hell when I found you five hours ago. The man collapses into the toxic liquid that he was standing in.
Twilight: "No!"
The man: "My helmet... right side..."
Twilight run over to the helmet and taps the side. An aircraft lowers from the sky and lands near the man.....

Later....

Twilight: "Hey..."
The man: "Well, look at that. They fixed your eyes!"
Twilight tightly wraps herself around the man.
Twilight: "I will never leave you again!"
The man: "Good to hear! I'm just happy I got to see my wife before my cancer killed me. Now, I'm goin' to pony heaven with a smile....."
